This course offers newly joined Cadets the opportunity to "finish" the 1st Class training syllabus. Its initial concept was to create more cadets eligible to attend Summer Camps.
Pre-requisites:
- Cadets must be 13.3 and enrolled.
- Must be in Uniform
- Must have completed the Air Training Corps (ACP31v1) prior to arrival.
Course syllabus:
- ACP31v2 (History of the RAF)
- ACP31v4 (Initial Exped Training)
- ACP31v6 (Communications)
- ACP32v1 (Navigation - Map Reading)
- ACP34v1 (Aircraft Operations - Airmanship 1)
- Uniform. How to wear it, how to maintain it

Structure:
The cadets are taken through several of the Corps Syllabus subjects and assessed at the end of each module, using an examination pack approved by Wing Staff. They spend regular sessions learning basic foot drill at the halt and on the march. This, coupled with living in a "camp environment" provides an excellent learning situation for them to move forwards significantly towards completing their basic training.
The course does NOT include learning or assessment on:
- ACP31 V1 The Air Training Corps
- ACP33 V1 History of Flight
