Flying & Gliding
In Devon and Somerset wing we thrive on flying and gliding. It is a very popular activity for all cadets, and is well liked. Most cadets have never flown before or found it to expensive; however the Air Training Corps offers free flying each year to all cadets.
Within the Air Training Corps we offer both Flying in the RAF Grob 115 and gliding in the Viking, each cadet is guaranteed at least one flight each year.

Cadets are given the chance to have hands on control with the Grob 115 on their first flight. Cadets are also asked if they wish to experience and possibly fly some aerobatics.
